      In service of the Civics 2030 Campaign, I pledge to...

      • Create a civics club at my school focused on civic engagement projects;
      • Look into ways to fund raise for the Civics 2030 campaign;
      • Bring politicians in to verse our knowledge;
      • Raise the level of public debate in my communities.

      I have joined the Civics 2030 Campaign because...

      • I want to create a future for the next generations to feel safe and empowered in.

      To me, a flourishing democracy is one...

      • where everyone is treated equally under the law,

      • where everyone is represented in voting,

      • where demographics aren't just seen as numbers or just to "check all the boxes".

      To me, a flourishing community is one...

      • where everyone can speak on their beliefs and be accepted,

      • where no one will be judged on anything but their actions, and

      • where people respect one another.

      In my development as a Civic Superhero, I strive to embody...

      1. Justice: Be fair and equal in my decisions.

      2. Persistence: Work hard and keep trying even when things get hard.

      3. Leadership: Do better for others than what I do for myself.

      4. Kindness: Choose to be kind even if people don't always deserve it.

      5. Authenticity: To be real even when people around me aren't .

      By 2030, I pledge to have contributed to the flourishing of the following communities:

      • My JROTC unit

      • My foundations

      • My athletic teams

      By 2030, I pledge to have played any, many, or all of the following roles in service of creating a brighter future for my communities and American democracy:

      • Air Force Pilot
      • Army Ranger
      • Politician

      Long Term Goals

      • By July 4th, 2021:  Become JROTC Battalion commander through working hard as team commanders this school year.
      • By July 4th, 2022:  Accept my appointment to the Air Force Academy and begin basic cadet training.
      • By July 4th, 2025:  Have earned 3 AA degrees and be 1 year out from graduating with 3 bachelors degrees.
