Here's the gist:
Civics Unplugged (CU) is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) social enterprise that provides leaders of Generation Z training, funds, and support to work on projects that strengthen their communities and American democracy.
In January 2020, we launched the Civics Unplugged Fellowship, which is a six-month, digital-first leadership program through which 200 exceptional high school-aged leaders—representing a cross-section of American backgrounds, regions, and cultures—come together to learn systems thinking, personal development, democratic theory, and community building.
The Fellowship culminated in the July 4th, 2020 launch of Civics 2030, CU's 10-year national campaign to mobilize funds and support for leaders of Gen Z to spearhead projects that strengthen American communities and democracy.
The 2021 Fellowship will be bigger and better than the inaugural program. The application launches September 2020.
