Media & Trust
Girls for Algorithmic Justice was founded by CU alum, Anika Dugal. GFAJ is the world’s largest youth-led organization for gender equity in AI policy. GFAJ has engaged thousands of individuals worldwide, raising awareness about the threat of deepfakes, advocating for legislative change alongside advocacy partners, and more.
Tech and AI
The Center for Youth and AI was founded by CU alum, Saheb Gulati. They’re the leading outlet for the research and publication of AI’s effects on young people, and their work has been featured in TIME and Fortune.

Sustainability & Environment
A Sustainable Future was founded by CU alum Carolyn He. Schools generate significant paper waste, impacting both budgets and the environment. A Sustainable Future tackles this issue with a tech-enabled, data-driven approach that reduces waste while empowering students to become environmental activists.

Reimagining Communities
Founded by five CU alumni, Nahom Sisay, Avi Siegel, Liam Hoffman, Emma Shultz, and Jessie Cai, CoFund is a community that drives systematic change by investing in young people with community-based social impact projects for change through funding, mentorship, and professional opportunities.

Education
Extracurriculando is an NGO that aims to democratize access to education in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries by providing online and free classes to students, especially those from the public educational system. Founded by CU alum Manuela Buesa, Extracurriculando has impacted almost 9,000 students and is currently present in five Portuguese speaking countries.
